DESCRIPTION:“For many years\, Franklin Tomorrow has wanted to host a “Vision City Conference” in Franklin in place of visiting another city and 2024 is that year\, in partnership with SEASIDE Institute™\, which first came to Franklin in 2004 (and again in 2005).\nIn the past\, Franklin Tomorrow has visited the following cities\, including Carmel\, Ind.; Greenville\, S.C.; Mt. Pleasant\, S.C.; Alpharetta\, Ga.; Serenbe\, Ga.; and last year\, Huntsville\, Ala. \nOften when we begin to make connections with these communities experiencing rapid growth while maintaining a strong financial base\, they say\, “You are calling from Franklin\, Tenn.? That’s a visionary city.” Over the last several years\, many communities from across the country have visited Franklin to see our planning & development process\, parks and understand the culture. \nIn 2004 SEASIDE Institute™ worked with the City of Franklin and other organizations to offer a multi-day workshop of case studies and critiques of traditional neighborhood developments\, with Southern Land and Westhaven being presented as a case study alongside developments from other parts of the country. \nThe 2024 Vision City Conference dates are Oct. 15-17 and the program will feature a collaboration between Franklin Tomorrow and SEASIDE Institute™\, which as a nonprofit organization itself promotes community building through design\, education and the arts. The three tenets of SEASIDE Institute™ are Sustainability\, Connectivity\, and Adaptability\, beliefs which we think resonate with residents in Franklin and Middle Tennessee. \nThe theme will be a focus on “How History Impacts the Future.” The conference is being planned with a downtown Franklin campus approach for walkability\, utilizing The Harpeth Hotel as well as the Franklin Theatre and The Factory at Franklin as meeting sites. Out-of-town attendees are being encouraged to stay at The Harpeth Hotel or the Spring Hill Suites at McEwen.”

We’ll cover 95 years of history in 75 minutes while showing you some of the shops\, restaurants\, and events you can enjoy today! \nThis tour will split time between indoor and outdoor stops and will take place rain or shine. We advise you to wear comfortable walking shoes and dress accordingly for the weather. DESCRIPTION:After a successful 2023 event\, the Skeleton Gala returns to Liberty Hall in The Factory at Franklin on Saturday\, October 26. \nThe proceeds of this year’s event will support the Williamson Health Foundation’s initiative to fund sports medicine services for the student-athletes of Williamson County in addition to scholarships for students that will be pursuing health-related degrees in college. Bone and Joint Institute and Williamson Health are proud partners that bring impact to the community by providing sports medicine care each and every day to Williamson County student-athletes and their families. \nIn addition\, the Bone and Joint Institute physicians also serve as team physicians for several area private schools. We provide sports medicine services to Brentwood High School\, Centennial High School\, Fairview High School\, Franklin High School\, Independence High School\, Nolensville High School\, Page High School\, Ravenwood High School\, Summit High School\, Battle Ground Academy\, Brentwood Academy\, Christ Presbyterian Academy\, Grace Christian Academy\, and Lipscomb Academy. \nThroughout the year\, Williamson Health athletic trainers work in tandem with dedicated Bone and Joint Institute physicians to care for the WCS student-athletes. In addition to the Williamson Health athletic trainers and Bone and Joint Institute team physicians\, crews from Williamson Health Emergency Medical Services (EMS) are on the sidelines during football games and other events\, ready to provide immediate care in case of injury. \n  \nThis year’s event will be a masquerade ball\, so don your best mask and join us as we continue to support sports medicine and education in our Williamson County High Schools.
