Antiques at the Factory, has the largest collection of antiques and collectibles in Franklin, TN, a town which is known for its antique shops. With approximately 50 dealers and 15,000 square feet, the mall offers an assortment of antiques and reproductions for any decor, along with paintings, fine estate jewelry, silver, mid century furniture, garden statuary, decorative window shutters and objects d’art. The high level of service at the “Antiques at the Factory " gives customers something they don't expect." And the Gordons like to make it fun to shop in their stores. One popular feature is their weekly mystery item. "We hide it somewhere in the store and if you find it, it's free!" said Sheri Gordon. "Customers really enjoy that." During the holidays, Antiques at the Factory features an open house with live entertainment and its annual silver cleaning presentation. And the staff is happy to help customers with heirloom pieces by researching through their extensive in-store reference library or by referring them to an appraiser. With hard work, good ideas and a contagious sense of fun, the Gordons have carved a retail niche for themselves which has exceeded their dreams. "I'm just astonished at how successful this has been," said Chuck Gordon. "We came in with a set of goals that we have more than accomplished."

Then came the opportunity for Otto and his wife Lyn, to move to Nashville, and he has now opened his studio at the “Factory at Franklin”. The studio will be focusing on custom designs, teaching and supplies. Classes will be held at the studio, for beginners and intermediate glass enthusiasts. Otto also plans to added classes on “Stained Glass Elusions” designs. This is using material to create a stained glass look without cutting, foiling and soldering.
