The Annie Moses Summer Music Festival is a performing arts intensive for young musicians. Each student is given a customized role in two performances at premier Nashville venues. At the Festival you’ll get to:
– Experience the thrill of performing with passionate players.
– Build life-long friendships.
– Go deeper in your faith.

Take your music to the next level. During the Festival we host five original shows that cover multiple genres including Americana, Jazz, Classical, and Broadway. Each student is cast in at least two of these shows and given customized parts for their featured moments. Our final show, the Gala, brings all of our students together in one epic performance.

A Poet and a Troubadour
Thursday, August 22, 7:00 pm
at The Mockingbird Theater

White and Satchel

Award-winning hit songwriters Phillip White (Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire, George Strait, Darius Rucker, Jake Owen) and Leslie Satcher (George Strait, Martina McBride, Bonnie Raitt, Willie Nelson, Vince Gill, Sheryl Crow, Maren Morris) collaborate to bring a new hit songwriter experience to theaters across America. On August 22nd, their show A Poet and A Troubadour will make its stop at the Factory at Franklin at the Mockingbird Theater.

Satcher, who is local to Franklin, and White, whose career has spanned over 25 years in Nashville, are excited to return to their roots in Middle Tennessee. White will be performing songs from his new album, Movin’ On Sessions Vol. 1, which he recorded in both Nashville and Muscle Shoals. Satcher will bring her soulful sounds of her new recording, 2 Days In Muscle Shoals, back home to Franklin. Satcher and White have been friends for over 25 years and have played thousands of shows together. Anyone that has been to a songwriter show has experienced the mutual respect on stage between the songwriters that makes it such a special evening. The two will start the show together on-stage swapping hit songs and the stories behind them. They will then return individually as artists and perform songs off of their new recordings.
